Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G hands-on

Tecno is introducing a new imaging system with the Camon 30 Premier 5G. It is a combination of Sony image sensors, a Sony ISP chip and Tecno AI algorithms and it is called “PolarAce”.

The phone’s focus on photography and video is evident from its camera-inspired design. It has a metal frame that gives it rigidity and a more premium feel, plus Tecno says that it helps with cooling.

The back has a grippy faux leather texture and a “zoom ring” design for the circular camera island. The island is off-center as there is a chamfered area just to the side of it. This improves ergonomics as it is a great place to put your finger – it gives you stable grip on the phone without getting your finger in the frame.

Since we’re focusing on the cameras already, the main module uses a Sony IMX890, a 1/1.56” sensor with 1.0µm pixels. It is joined by a 70mm periscope (3x) with 50MP sensor that will be used for zooming (up to 60x hybrid zoom), portrait shots (with the help of AI) and even macro shots. A 50MP ultra wide rounds off the rear cameras.

Notice that red dot in the corner – that’s a light. It turns on during video recording, just like a real video camera might. This also serves as a charging indicator and lights up when you activate the voice assistant. On the other side of the camera island is the LED flash.

Flipping around the front, there is a 6.77" OLED display (1,264 x 2,780px). This is an LTPO panel, which is a kind of a first – Tecno used LTPO on its foldable phones (Phantom V Fold and V Flip), but this is the first bar Tecno to use the technology. The display peaks at 1,400 nits for outdoor visibility.

The selfie camera in the punch hole has a 50MP sensor and eye tracking - and it has autofocus to boot. You will probably be pleased to hear that the display is flat.

The metal sides of the phone are flat too, aligning with the design trends of today. There are stereo speakers with grilles on top and bottom and Dolby Atmos support. Also on the bottom is a USB-C port and the SIM card tray. There's no 3.5mm headphone jack, however. But it does have an IR blaster on top

The Camon 30 Premier has a metal frame with flat sides

The phone is powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultra, a 4nm chip with four Cortex-A78 cores and four A55, plus a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. Here it is paired with 12GB of RAM (plus 12GB virtual RAM) and 512GB storage. The chipset will be assisted by the Sony CXD5622GG – a convoluted name for a dedicated ISP that promises 4.6 TFLOPS for FP16 (16-bit floating point).

Inside is a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging over USB-C. The phone measures 162.7 x 76.2 x 7.9mm.

Tecno will bring the Camon 30 series to market soon with the Premier as the top model, but the company had two more at its booth (and we checked those out too).

Goldman Sachs To Become Second Big Bank Offering Bitcoin To Wealthy Customers

Less than two weeks after Morgan Stanley said it will start offering bitcoin exposure to its wealthy clients, banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs is also pushing deeper into the space, telling CNBC this week that it's looking to offer a "full spectrum" of cryptocurrency investments for its private wealth clients within the next few months.

KEY FACTS

Goldman expects to begin offering bitcoin exposure to clients of its private wealth management division in the second quarter, Mary Rich, the division's new global head of digital assets, told CNBC in an interview published Wednesday.

Though Goldman has yet to state which crypto investments it will support to begin with, Rich said the bank ultimately hopes to offer a "full spectrum" of digital asset investments, including tokens themselves, as well as derivatives and traditional investment vehicles.

In an internal memo announcing Rich's appointment on Wednesday, Goldman said Rich will "leverage the firm's capabilities to ensure [it] can meet client's interest across digital asset classes and technologies."

The development comes within weeks of Goldman restarting its cryptocurrency trading desk amid bitcoin's recent resurgence, serving as a market-maker by buying and selling securities on behalf of clients but not actively managing cryptocurrencies itself.

At about $58,600, the price of bitcoin is up 3% over the past week and a staggering 810% higher than one year ago.

CRUCIAL QUOTE

"Bitcoin is on an inevitable path to have the same market cap and then a higher market cap as gold," former hedge fund billionaire-turned crypto investor Michael Novogratz told CNBC on Wednesday, . "It's just how fast adoption happens. Adoption is happening faster than I had predicted—it's shocking to me how fast people are moving into the system." The current market capitalization of gold is roughly $10.6 trillion, while bitcoin stands at about $1.1 trillion.

KEY BACKGROUND

A wave of institutional adoption and inflationary concerns have helped bitcoin prices–and the cryptocurrency market–soar to new highs this year. Last week, billionaire Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla would start accepting bitcoin for vehicle purchases and retaining the cryptocurrency tendered, as opposed to converting it to U.S. dollars. Also this month, Fidelity Investments filed an application for its first bitcoin exchange-traded fund, and banking powerhouse Morgan Stanley said it would open up bitcoin exposure to its wealthy clients, though it's limiting such funds to investors with "an aggressive risk tolerance.”

CBS warned Stars not to expose skin at Grammys

Sunshine Magazine

US television network CBS may have warned stars not to show too much skin on stage Sunday at the Grammys, but the music industry's A-listers tested the limits in body-conscious, revealing gowns.

Jennifer Lopez, whose plunging barely-there green Versace gown at the 2000 Grammys provided a red carpet moment for the ages, pushed the dress code to the edge with a daring black dress that covered most - but not all - of her.

"They didn't say anything about leg!" she said on the red carpet ahead of the main event, her toned bare leg and shoulder on full display in her asymmetrical Anthony Vaccarello ensemble.

Later on stage, Lopez joked: "As you can see, I read the memo!"

Katy Perry clearly did not get the memo

In an email leaked to media outlets, CBS warned those appearing on the Grammys stage at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles to "please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered".

"Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack," read the letter from CBS's Standards and Practices department to representatives of the stars.

The letter continued: "Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."

Katy Perry clearly did not get the memo, strutting her stuff in a skin-tight cleavage-baring mint green Gucci dress, saying she was inspired by the retro glam of Priscilla Presley's look in the 1970s.

Neither did Alicia Keys, who belted out Girl on Fire on stage in a black dress with sheer cut-outs that definitely revealed more of her breasts than the network might have hoped.

Long sleeves and a conservative hem
Rihanna opted for a body-skimming sheer red dress by Azzedine Alaia, with bright red lips and fingernails to match. For her on-stage performance, she changed into a simple black evening gown that was less revealing.

Pop princess Taylor Swift glittered in a winter white goddess gown from J Mendel, complete with silver accents at the neck and bustline and a daring slit in the front.

In the opening performance of the night, Swift changed into a white ringmaster's costume with shorts and knee-high boots - but no curves exposed.

Kelly Rowland, the Destiny's Child singer who performed with Beyoncé a week ago at the Super Bowl half-time show, sported a black Georges Chakra gown with strategic cut-outs that showed off her impressive figure.

One-time American Idol Carrie Underwood - a winner for best country solo performance for Blown Away - opted for a strapless black Roberto Cavalli with a sheer skirt.

Adele, the big winner at last year's Grammys with six trophies and a winner again on Sunday, left her usual basic black at home but followed the rules, opting for a bold red floral Valentino dress with long sleeves and a conservative hem.kindly comments if you enjoy the news

Late Whitney voted best love song in US poll

Sunshine magazine
With Valentine's Day just a week away, singer Whitney Houston's classic ballad I Will Always Love You has been voted the most popular love song in a US poll.

The signature song of the Grammy-award winning singer, who died suddenly a year ago, scored 38% of the vote among all adults in the Harris Interactive survey, and was the top pick among all divorced, separated or widowed Americans.

Houston's hit from her 1992 movie, The Bodyguard was a cover of a 1974 song written and recorded by country singer Dolly Parton.

The Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody, Percy Sledge's When a Man Loves a Woman, Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful, and the Bees Gees' How Deep is Your Love rounded out the top five songs.

'Turn up the sound'
"Romance is about making an emotional appeal to the senses, and to the heart," Aaron Levine of Sony Electronics Home Audio, which commissioned the poll, said in a statement announcing the results. "So, turn down the lights and turn up the sound."

Adults who voted in the online poll were asked to pick their favorite love songs from a list of more than 40 tunes spanning several decades.

Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing came in sixth, followed by Patsy Cline's Crazy, Foreigner's I Want to Know What Love Is, Bryan Adams' (Everything I Do) I Do It for You and Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye.

To mark the first anniversary of Houston's death on 11 February, organizers of the Grammy Awards said they will honour the singer with an hour-long TV special entitled The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family that will air in the US on Saturday, the day before the 2013 Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.kindly comments if you enjoy the news

Adele makes £41k in every 24 hours- reports

Sunshine Magazine
The hitmaker Adele reportedly makes £41 000 a day, according to accounts for the 24-year-old's company Melted Stone Ltd, which show she has £10.3m in the bank and a further £4.6m due in royalties.

Her huge fortune is down to the phenomenal success of her second album 21, which has sold 25 million copies worldwide, outselling her debut 19 three times over. The soulful singer's accounts were worth £341 000 last year before her music took off in America.

She recently splashed out £600 000 to buy her hardworking single mother Penny Adkins a plush new pad in Notting Hill, west London, as a thank you for working two jobs to support her daughter's ambitions to become a star.

Rehearsing for the Oscars

Adele - who lives in a ten-bedroom mansion in Surrey with her fiancé Simon Konecki and her four-month-old son Angelo James - is currently renting Sir Paul McCartney's old Los Angeles mansion for £47 000 a month while she rehearses for the Oscars.

She is due to serenade the crowd with hit song Skyfall as part of the 50th anniversary James Bond celebrations on 24 February and is said to be extremely anxious about her performance.

A source told Sunshine Magazine Online: "Adele is really nervous about her Oscars performance, so decided against staying in a hotel where there would be lots of people around.

"The property's up in the hills so guarantees her privacy. And what better place to get musical inspiration than an ex-Beatle's home."please kindly comments if you enjoy the news
