Big plans are in place to stage the biggest and most unique charity ball in these parts as ace comedian Ali Baba, award winning crooner 2Face Idibia and prolific film producer, Opa Williams have joined forces for this year’s edition of William’s annual charity ball, The Evening. The event which has been touted as the biggest and most unique charity event will be done in association with the Nigerian Society for the Blind with the aim of bringing succor to the visually impaired and will see over 30 per cent of proceeds set aside for the procurement of Brail machines as well as other visual support materials for the visually impaired.
The event which is billed to hold on November 25 at the Muson Centre, Lagos has been described by Williams through his media Company, Media Image Managers (MIM) as the perfect Christmas gift anyone can give to loved ones. Speaking on why The Evening is more than just a concert, the brain behind comedy show Night of a Thousand Laughs stated that The Evening is more than just a concert.
