Cape Town - Computicket has released a list of items that
concertgoers will not be allowed to bring into the Cape Town Stadium for the
Lady Gaga concert on Monday night.
The items that have been banned from the stadium include the following:
1. Glass bottles or containers or other heavy and/or sharp objects which could potentially be used as projectiles (excluding sunglasses, binoculars and prescription or reading glasses)
2. Any illegal drugs
3. Skateboards, scooters, roller blades or bicycles
4. Knives, weapons of any nature or fireworks
5. Any object that could be used to distract, hinder or interfere with any performer including laser pointers and flash lights
6. Flags with poles, large flags or banners that may obstruct the view of other patrons
7. Any whistle, horn, musical instrument, loud hailer, public address system
8. Digital, electronic or other recording or broadcast device
9. Any item that you intend to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes
10. No animals apart from authorised guide/companion dogs
11. Any dangerous goods and any other items by management to be dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance
12. Professional and non professional cameras or video recorders
13. Umbrellas
14. Braais
15. Camping Chairs
16. Cooler Boxes
17. Food and refreshments (including soft drinks and alcohol) which will be available for sale inside the concert.
Transport details for the concert has also been released by the City of Cape Town, to ensure minimum traffic congestion in the city.
