Former corporate executive turned television host, Mo Abudu
is set to launch her very own cable channel called Ebonylife, sources reveal.
The entrepreneur who has garnered large followership through her television
show Moments with Mo will reportedly run the lifestyle channel on DSTV airing
across Africa.
The big-budget project is reportedly funded by Abudu along
with unconfirmed investors with the crew currently being picked and the signing
of a concession agreement with Tinapa, Cross Rivers state. The show will
reportedly air in April.
Mo Abudu is a firm advocate for the development of Africa
and is the founder of the Inspire Africa Foundation, a non for profit organization
focused on raising funds to implement society-transforming initiatives. She is
also the brains behind The Debaters, a reality show focused on giving Africa a
voice by promoting oratory.
