Beyoncé plans to offer cheap concert tickets

Sunshine magazine
Beyoncé plans to make her concert tickets cheaper.

The Love on Top singer - who stunned with her 14-minute Super Bowl performance in New Orleans on Sunday - doesn't want any of her fans to miss out on attending her upcoming Mrs Carter Show world tour and has made sure that her ticket prices are as low as possible.

A source told Sunshine Magazine Online that tickets in the US will start at approximately £30, adding: "There are plenty of tickets at low prices in every city so Beyoncé can make sure all of her fans can see the show. And there are similarly low-priced tickets in every worldwide city.

"She takes care of all her fans so that every one of them can see her."

Europe, North America

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Friday from Ticketmaster and general tickets will go on sale on 11 February for the tour, which will begin on 15 April in Belgrade, Serbia and cover most of Europe.

The singer - who is married to rapper Jay-Z and has a one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter - will then travel to over twenty cities throughout North America this summer and she is confirmed to headline at the world's largest music festival Rock in Rio on 13 September in Brazil before the second wave of the tour starts in Latin America, before moving on to Australia and Asia.

The Rolling Stones came under fire last year when they announced tickets for their 50 and Counting shows would cost between £95 and £375 per ticket in the UK, and guitarist Keith Richards was forced to defend the prices.

He said: "We do it for ourselves. And I don't mean money-wise - of course you don't mind getting paid - but that is not the driving force behind this band. You can sit at home, do a bit of painting or writing or whatever.

"But there's a certain magnetic thing that says what I really want to do is play with Charlie Watts and Mick and Ronnie. That's the force that's indescribable. You put this bunch into a room with a bunch of microphones and some instruments and something is going to come out." Kindly comments if you enjoy the news
